Jack & Lacey Tilden Park

Shooting at a new location is always an adventure. Shooting a wedding is an adventure. Jack an Lacey have allowed me to join them in both. Here are some images from an engagement shoot we did at Tilden Park. We raced the fog, climbed trees, hopped fences and dodged poison oak. They were such a fun couple to work with!

I remember getting ready for my prom in 10 minutes.... because getting my hair done took 2.5 hours!! Doing this prom shoot brought me back. Anna looked like a fairytale princess. What an amazing dress!! Photography wise I learned it is very challenging to get the best shots when there are 30+ people taking pictures as well as 30+ subjects. Thanks go out to Anna and Nick for letting me practice. You are both stunning.

Coe Coe and Uncle Dan

I was lucky enough to meet this little fellow and re-meet his parents in a cute little town on the California Oregon border. Babies make such great subject matter because, well, they are cute. Coe Coe is extra cute so it makes it even more fun to take his picture and play.

My lovely friend, since I was in 1st grade, is getting engaged to the love of her live and I had the honor of taking their engagement photos. It was a cold evening when we shot so I warmed up the images a bit.

Fall Raindrops

The other day I was sitting inside talking on the phone and I looked outside and saw our pink flamingos buried in a pile of wet leaves. Inspiration. I hung up and the picture taking began. Oh how I love my portrait lens and its short depth of field. Oh how I love fall and the smell of fresh rain. Oh how I love thinking that it's snowing in Tahoe. I can't wait to try out my new goPro.
